Love for Kids.... Sometimes it’s not the lesson plan or the schedule that matters most. The laughing, connecting, and simply being a kid bring beauty to our days! Moments like these remind us that at the heart of education is relationship. Feeling safe. Feeling seen. Feeling loved. Then learning can truly begin.
A huge thank you to our parent volunteers for helping make PJ Pancake Day such a sweet success. Your support and generosity mean so much to our school community! 🥞💙
We finished off Numeracy Week with Pattern Day and our Math-a-thon! A huge thank you to our students, staff, Parent Council, and families for making this such a great week of learning, engagement, and numeracy in action.

Numeracy Walk Scavenger Hunt! Numbers were posted all around the school, and students were challenged to find them and create as many equations as possible using what they discovered. Addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, operations were flying everywhere!
From budgeting groceries, to measuring ingredients, planning travel time to building projects, photography to prescriptions— families shared all the ways they use numeracy every single day in the world around them. Sticky notes full of real-life math moments! Reminders that numeracy isn’t just something you learn at school — it’s a skill you use to problem-solve, plan, and make decisions every day!
Numeracy Week continues with our “Partners in Prime”- Buddy Day! Classes tested their ability to build different towers out of decks of cards, dominos, & other math manipulatives!🗼
The halls were buzzing yesterday! Our school was transformed into a giant math playground for NUMERACY WEEK. We kicked this event off with a Numeracy Wall Walk! It was incredible to see our young mathematicians in action, taking on challenges and filling the hallways with excitement. Our students solved all sorts of questions and shared their unique "math thinking" on our interactive charts for everyone to see! It was so great to see the collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking that came from them working together to find solutions! Mrs. Harding hosted the 'Le Roi/Reine des Nombres' (King/Queen of Numbers) competition! Students engaged in a spirited, friendly challenge to see who could recognize and recite numbers in French with the greatest speed and accuracy. It was a fantastic way to sharpen their fluency while having a lot of fun together!" A massive THANK YOU to our amazing Numeracy Week Team for organizing such a high-energy day of activities. You’ve made math come alive for our students! #NumeracyWeek #MathIsFun #YoungMathematicians #SchoolCommunity #STMLearningInAction

In the spirit of June’s Catholic Social Teaching theme of Solidarity, Mrs. Edwards’ and Mrs. Romaniuk’s Kindergarten classes are proud to support the Northern Birthday Box Project. This initiative sends birthday supplies to children living in remote northern communities across Canada, where the cost of everyday items can be especially high. We believe that all people are created equally by God and are called to care for one another, standing together in unity and working for the common good. As we learn about kindness, generosity, and justice, we are reminded that every child deserves to feel loved, valued, and celebrated. We send our warmest wishes and a very Happy Birthday to the special recipients of our birthday boxes!
