A special story shared by a parent of how ST. MARY'S LEAVES NOT ONE HEART BEHIND: Every child’s needs are different and if you are someone whose child needs more intense academic support you may understand what it feels like to be alone in the journey to helping your child. This is where we were until we came to St. Mary’s where our teacher took the time to get to know our child and engage in meetings with us to look at programming and what supports and strategies could be used to help. I did not know that teachers cared so much. I left our meeting in tears, giving the teacher a big hug, and a thousand thank yous for taking the time to learn about and support our child. I even took our house off the market that day because I didn’t want to move the kids to another school! We found a school that the kids love going to and the teachers show they care!

95% of Students, Parents and Staff are Satisfied with the Quality of Education at St. Mary's! Learning is challenging and interesting for students and curriculum content is well covered. We put our hearts into loving, serving, and educating your children!

Thank you to everyone for their participation in Numeracy Week and thank you to all families who shared, either in writing or video, how you use mathematics in your daily life. It was amazing to see all the different ways people use math in work and play! Students completed the Math-a-thon questions today and will be bringing them home on Monday. Thank you for gathering pledges to help support St. Mary's inclusive, accessible playground project!

Buddy Up! Today we joined a buddy class to learn a new math game or to share strategies for solving problems!

St. Mary's guides students to build healthy friendships through a faith based lens as we look at virtue and how to love one another.

There was a MEASUREMENT FRENZY in St. Mary’s as division one students estimated how many paperclips tall Mr. Bailey is! So many creative ways to tackle this challenge!

TOPP KIDS provides high quality Before & After School Care for St. Mary's for families in kindergarten to grade 6. Programs are conveniently run on-site at St. Mary's, using a child-led kids club based approach and S.T.E.A.M based activity planning. TOPP KIDS environments are designed to make kids feel at home and continue to help them develop into responsible, community conscience young adults.

St. Mary’s AMAZING TEACHERS just could not get enough of Pattern Day! We hope your kids enjoy this!!! We are so lucky to have amazing teachers who look for ways to bring joy to students and make learning fun!

St. Mary's Learning Support Team collaborate with classroom teachers to support learners, buiding strong foundations in literacy and numeracy.
