Our school community held an indoor walk this week to celebrate the gift of Catholic Education. The hallways were filled with blue, bells, smiles and high fives. #STMFaith #CTRFaith #IBelieveInCatholicEd

Our True Earth fundraising campaign for grade six band camp continues.

Disappointing news, but due to the smoke from the fires we will be adjusting our walk and picnic. Recess will be indoors this morning as well. Unfortunately, we will not be going outside. We will have our students do a loop in our hallways and gym in our building for their walk and then they will picnic in classrooms and the gym. You are welcome to join us for picnic at 12, but since the walk portion is so short, we will just have the students partake in this activity. We were looking so forward to this event but will count our blessings that we are able to adapt and still join together in support of Catholic Education. We ask that you join us in prayer as we pray for Catholic Education, may we continue “Walking Together in Catholic Education” with unity and common vision. We also pray for all of the families displaced by the fires that they would feel God’s love and presence and we pray that you would protect the fire fighters, pilots, ground crews and support staff as they work to keep property safe from these fires.

We launched Catholic Education Week with a school wide assembly for the Crowning of Mary! Each student created a paper flower they were able to bring forward and place here. It was a beautiful way to begin the week. #IBelieveInCatholicEd #STMFaith #CTRFaith

St. Mary’s Little Flower Pre-School is hosting an Open House tomorrow, Wednesday May 10, from 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm for children starting Little Flower Pre-Kindergarten in September. Parents and siblings are welcome. Come out to see the classroom, meet the teacher, play with some cool toys, and complete a craft.
