Congratulations to our Christian Witness award winner, Susan Dafoe! This award is given to members of CTR Catholic to celebrate their leadership in serving as witnesses to the Gospel throughout the division.
Susan is a quiet but deeply faithful presence in our community. She attends Mass regularly and serves generously in parish ministries such as ushering; offering a warm welcome grounded in humility and devotion. Her faith shines most clearly through her strong prayer life and actions—leading rosary for those in need, providing meals for colleagues and their families, leaving notes of joy and encouragement, and giving freely of their time, talents, and resources.
In the school, Susan's classroom becomes a place of safety, dignity, and hope. She teaches with excellence and serves with a heart that sees each child fully. Making a compassionate phone call home, supporting families through personal struggles, and meeting students with patience, understanding, and unwavering love are daily STAPLES of Susan's.
Through her witness and service - steady, selfless, and deeply Christ-centered, Susan reminds us what it truly means to be Church for one another. Our school is profoundly blessed by her presence.
