All of our schools are open, but snow accumulations and blowing snow will dictate that some buses might be compromised today. In all of our other communities, we expect buses to run, but we anticipate that developing winter conditions might cause some to run late. Please do not leave children unattended at bus stops, and please ensure that they are dressed appropriately for the conditions.

Even where we initially determine that rural buses can travel, individual bus drivers have the authority to cancel rural routes if they determine that local conditions may be unsafe. In the case that a rural route is cancelled, Southland Transportation will contact families. In-town stops will still be accommodated.
